The Colossi of Memnon are two huge Luxor statues over 3,000 years old. They represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III and guard the entrance to his mortuary temple. Uneven ground during construction caused the statues to be placed at different angles and not be the same size.

Built in Luxor as a tribute to the god Amun. It has three levels of terraces, a central courtyard, and a sanctuary. The walls display Hatshepsut's life.
