📍 The Giza pyramids
They finished the Pyramid in 2570 BC, making it the tallest structure on Earth for over 3800 years at 147 m (481 ft) and the sole intact member of the seven wonders of the ancient world. A large workforce of 400000 free workers and 3.6 million limestone blocks were employed to make it possible.
📍 The Sphinx
It is a legendary statue with a lion's body and a human's head. Great Sphinx design reflects many of the religious and political beliefs of ancient Egypt. The lion's body represents strength and power, while the human head represents wisdom and intelligence. The statue incorporates elements of solar worship as well, as the ancient Egyptians believed the pharaoh to be a divine figure capable of bringing the sun and its life-giving energy to the people.
📍 Saqqara Pyramid
Djoser and Imhotep built a large stone mastaba that they kept adding to until it became the world's first pyramid, comprising six terraces that were 200 feet high.
📍 Memphis
Memphis was once called the "White Wall" because of its palace made of whitewashed bricks. Its current name is a Greek translation of the nearby Pyramid's name, Men-nefer.
By finishing this historical tour, an air-conditioned vehicle will transport you to your hotel.

The Egyptian Museum houses ancient Egyptian artifacts, including Tutankhamun's iconic solid gold mask, the Narmer Palette, and royal mummies such as Ramses II and Hatshepsut.
📍 The Salah Al-din Citadel
Salah Al-Din built a military base and royal residence for centuries in Cairo. Its walls and towers fended invaders off.
📍 The Mosque of Muhammad Ali
The mosque, built between 1830 and 1848 by architect Yusuf Bushnak, is made of alabaster and is on a raised platform in Cairo's Citadel complex.

El Muizz Street in Islamic Cairo holds a reputation for its remarkable architecture and historical significance. When you visit, don't miss the Al-Hakim Mosque, Al-Azhar Mosque, Al-Ghuri Complex, and Qalawun Complex.

After enjoying breakfast, we'll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Meet your Egyptologist to start your tour and visit The Valley of the Kings, The Hatshepsut Temple.
📍 The Valley of the Kings
During the New Kingdom period of ancient Egypt, the Valley of the Kings contained over 60 tombs of pharaohs and nobles. These tombs safeguarded their bodies and belongings in the afterlife and feature intricate paintings and carvings depicting their journey.
📍 The Hatshepsut Temple
Egypt's most remarkable and best-preserved temple. Hatshepsut Temple features a multi-level structure with sculptures, serving as a place of worship for her father and a sacred space for Amun, which the designers carefully designed. Carvings adorn the walls, depicting her reign and connection to Amun.
📍 The Colossi of Memnon
A pair of matching statues portraying the Egyptian pharaoh Amenhotep III. They are both made of quartzite sandstone and tower over 18 meters high. Positioned facing the east, the direction of the sunrise, the ancient Egyptians originally constructed the seated statues as gatekeepers of the mortuary temple. They believed that the pharaoh's body was prepared for burial and his spirit resided in the afterlife in this hallowed space.
📍 The Karnak Temple
The ancient Egyptian complex is remarkable with the Great Hypostyle Hall's intricate carvings and the Precincts of gods Amun-Re, Mut, and Montu. It is truly outstanding how these ancient structures have endured the test of time for millennia.

Christmas is celebrated twice in Egypt due to the different calendars followed by religious groups. The majority of Christians in Egypt belong to the Coptic Orthodox Church, which celebrates Christmas on January 7th according to the Julian calendar. However, some Catholic and Protestant Christians in Egypt observe Christmas on December 25th, following the Gregorian calendar. This results in two separate celebrations, reflecting Egypt's rich religious diversity and the differing traditions of Christian communities within the country.
Yes! Respect Egypt Tours specializes in personalized service, ensuring your journey is tailored to your preferences. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be treated to attentive care, making every aspect of your trip memorable and stress-free.
The holiday of Christmas in Egypt is held on the seventh of January because the Church of Alexandria is using the Julian calendar which is 13 days behind the rest of the world. Even though Christmas Day is celebrated on the December 25, it falls on January 7 in the Julian calendar. The Egyptian church has the same Christinas on the 7th of January where Christmas is not on the 25th of December but it is based on this Julian calendar.
Christmas is celebrated by Egyptians in an enjoyable and special manner, combining spirituality with local customs. Coptic Christmas starts with the observation of the mass on 6 January at midnight, and it is attended by thousands of worshippers within the beautifully lit churches. In the end of a 43 day fast, families come together to enjoy various food including “fatta”, which is a dish with lamb and rice. Streets and houses are artistically bedecked with lights and other decorative materials, thereby enhancing the pleasurable festivity, warmth and happiness. While Respect Egypt Tours, you can take this opportunity to feel this cultural activity, visiting the ancient churches and immersing in the celebration of Christmas in Egypt as it is.
