A wonder of the ancient world, the magnificent and classical Hatshepsut temple preserves the legacy of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC). Senenmut, Amun's central overseer of the Golden Works, created it in 1479 BC to celebrate both their significant accomplishments.
